In celebration of the enduring impact of women in STEM fields, Brüka Theatre will host a dedicated Women in Science Night on Tuesday, October 20, 2026. Mirroring the plays focus on the formidable partnership between Marie Curie and Hertha Ayrton, this special evening honors the legacy of women breaking barriers in scientific disciplines. The event features a pre-show discussion with local female scientists, researchers, and educators, exploring how the struggles and triumphs depicted on stage resonate with women working in STEM today.  Participants in Women In Science Night include: Yvonne Stevens-Geary: MS Cell and Molecular Biology; Nancy Horowitz: MS Microbiology; Meeghan Gray: PhD in Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation Biology; Dorothy Hudig: PhD Microbiology and Immunology; Rebecca Walker Comba: PhD CVSVP, DSA, Global Operations and Safety Assessment: Caroline Cobine: Physiology and Cell Biology
