Reno, NV - After a sixteen month shut down, Brüka Theatre reopens with Samuel Beckett’s Absurdist masterpiece, Waiting for Godot for the 29th season - Onward.  This iconic play challenges it’s audiences to confront life’s most difficult questions while searching for meaning in a world in which nothing is certain.  Written after witnessing the horrors of WWII, Beckett creates a universe in which his characters face the appalling nature of Man at his most base as they struggle with their sense of self and search for salvation from a god that may not exist.  As Horace Walpole said nearly three hundred years ago, “Life is a comedy to those who think and a tragedy to those that feel ''.  Waiting for Godot is a little bit of both and there is nothing to be done except endure what fate has to offer.

THE STORY:  Two old friends meet on a deserted road...what happens next is considered a modern masterpiece on the meaning of life.

SHOW TIMES:  All Brüka mainstage evening shows now begin at 7:30 PM Matinees begin at 2:00 PM. Doors open 30 minutes before curtain time.

PRICES:  Brüka Theatre is in the process of upgrading the box office technology to an “in house system” to better serve our patrons.  Additional Ticket fees will be incurred on all online and phone ticket transactions.  General admission: $30.  Admission for Students/Seniors/Military: $28.  All tickets are $32 at the door.
